10/05/12 Bodies of Water – Rise Up, Careful
For some reason, I’ve been on this night song kick, where every song seems to take me down a long dark road at odd hours of the night. This is exactly what “Rise Up, Careful” does. This jazzy tune by indie rockers Bodies of Water is off their third album Twist Again. It’s full of smooth jazz saxes and ominous pianos (what more could you ask for on that black stretch of road?). Check out the music video above. It’s got some beautifully strange interpretive dancing and the most bizarre job interview I’ve ever seen.
