10/10/11 Phantogram – Don’t Move

After hearing Phantogram’s debut album Eyelid Movies and seeing this NY duo put on an amazing show this past September, I’m excited to find out they’re releasing a new EP, Nightlife, on November 1st. The single, “Don’t Move” of the forthcoming EP was released yesterday and I have to say it’s got me very excited for November. The EP seems to have ushered in a new sound for Phantogram, relying less on simple trippy beats, synth and guitar and adding more layers and samples like brass instruments. Listen below.
